  1. On your desktop, right-click to get a drop-down menu. From this menu, select “AMD Radeon settings.”
  2. A separate window appears. In this window, select ‘Display’ settings from the menu bar.
  3. From among the options displayed, select “GPU Scaling” and turn it on or off.
  4. Select ‘Scaling Mode’ and from the drop-down menu, select the mode you desire (one of the three modes mentioned above).

An alternate method is to access your AMD Catalyst Control Center. In case you are wondering, AMD Radeon Software Crimson/ AMD Catalyst is an accompanying software for your AMD Radeon graphics card. If you have it installed on your system, follow the steps listed below to turn GPU scaling on or off:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and select ‘AMD Catalyst Control Center’ from the drop-down menu
